Joshua Chandler Reynolds, husband of Michelle Thompson Reynolds, devoted son of Judy Chandler Reynolds and the late Eddie Reynolds passed away at his residence on April 27, 2024. Josh was born on December 9, 1980, in Lynchburg, but grew up on the family farm in Bedford, where he spent countless hours farming with his dad.
Josh graduated from Liberty High School, where he was an outstanding wrestler. He ran EMT calls while in high school, later earning an associate degree as a paramedic. After working in emergency services for a number of years, Josh became an accomplished electrician working for himself and numerous local businesses.
Josh loved the outdoors, hunting, snow skiing, and fishing. He honed his skills fishing the rivers with his big brother and later fell in love with deep sea fishing the outer banks of North Carolina. Just like his dad, Josh could fix anything and delighted in helping others. He remembered important dates and never missed loved one’s birthdays and special occasions.
Josh leaves to mourn his wife Michelle, mother Judy, brother Brandon and the joys of his life his children, Carolina, and Chandler. Also surviving his special friend, Chris Blair, along with other family and friends.
A luncheon reception will be served at Bedford Baptist Church at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 17, 2024. A burial will be private.
