Joyce Danner Rhyne

Joyce Danner Rhyne, 77, of Lynchburg died Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Joyce was the wife of the late Robert Lineberger Rhyne.

Born Saturday, November 16, 1935, in Charlotte, NC Joyce was a daughter of the late Ralph James Danner and the late Margaret Hatfield Danner.  In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a son, Gary Neil Rhyne and a daughter, Deborah Rhyne Bertalan.

Joyce is survived by his son, Robert L. Rhyne Jr. and wife, Wanda; a grandson, Robert L. Rhyne, III; two granddaughters: Krissy Rhyne and her boyfriend Ryan, and Hannah Rhyne and her fiancé, Michael Campbell; a great granddaughter, Layla Anthony, a sister, Judy Hill and her daughter in-law, Tina Morgan.

A Celebration of Joyce\"™s life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Ralph Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Daily Bread, 721 Clay Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504, or the charity of your choice.
