Joyce June Watkins Beverlin, 86, of Lynchburg, died July 25, 2015.
Joyce was born in Ironton, Ohio on April 21, 1929, the daughter of the late Ernest Miles Watkins and Hilma Jones Watkins.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harry Lee Beverlin; sister, Rita M. Watkins; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Milton and Gary Watkins; sister, Joan Watkins Adkins.
Joyce was an avid quilter and a past president of the Patches and Pieces Quilt Club. She was formerly employed at IBM Commercial Offices in Baltimore, Md. and Arlington, Va.
A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral home, Lynchburg on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Wayne Lanham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
