Juanita Patrick

Juanita Patrick ,78, affectionately known as Nene. Passed away April 21, 2024, in hometown Lynchburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Alonza Marion Austin and Ardelia Mae Tweedy Austin. 

Juanita was born on July 1, 1945, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel and always believed in putting family first.  

She extended herself to help raise the children in her family. That love and guidance will leave a lasting footprint on all our hearts. If you had the privilege to be in her presence, she had so much wisdom to share. She could talk to you for hours with so many life stories or just reminiscing about her childhood. Her personality always lit every room she entered. 

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory with a host of family and friends.  

“I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: Bence forth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only {also} unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral spray, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the deepest words any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just prayed for us this day, whatever you did to console our hearts, We the family of the late Juanita Patrick thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.
