Judith Lee Parrish Alexander

Judith Lee Parrish Alexander departed this life on February 20, 2024, Judith was the daughter of the late Herman T. Parrish and Julia Smith Parrish. She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and Keith Alexander, two grandsons Deshawn Saunders and Assuam Jefferson, and two great grandsons Aiden and Shawn Moss, and one nephew Reginal Johnson Jr., she now joins her three lovely sisters Jacqueline Hull, Joyce Ann Parrish and Jennifer M. Bradley (the dynamic 4) and two loving brothers Howard (Sonny) Parrish and Herman T. Parrish Jr. (Brother).

Judith leaves to mourn, her husband Paul Alexander Sr., two daughters Angela Parrish and Pamela Tweedy (Marshall), two sons Paul Alexander, Jr and Jeffery Alexander, and 18 grandchildren that she absolutely loved Omorie, Chonna, Ashton, Michael, Mitez, Khiry, Keith, Diamonte, Khalil, Makeia, Ardaisa, Keath, Jasmine, Eric,  Brittany, Brandi, Brooklyn and Jaylen. Her devoted caregivers were Omorie, Chonna, Ardaisa and Terri.

Judith was also survived by her sisters Mary Franklin, Gwendolyn a Carter (Andre), and Paula Johnson (Tony), two aunts Gracie Fletcher and Mildred Smith, two sisters-in-law Elaine Wright, Teresa Alexander, two brothers-in-law, Calvin Hull, Woodrow Mason (Margret) nephews Rodney, whom she raised, Durell Thomas, Silas Jr.  and nieces, Alfreda and Lakesia.

Judith was a loving mother to all whom she came in contact with.

A celebration of Judith's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg.
