Judith "Judy" Newland Anderson

Judith Newland Anderson, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Allen T. Anderson for 40 years.
Born July 27, 1942 in Lynchburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Locke and Janice Newland. She retired from Bell Atlantic after 33 years of service.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Betty Jo Thompson (Jimmy), three daughters, Karen Wilson (Wayne), Rhonda DeHart (John), Shelly Lane (Todd) all of Lynchburg. Three stepchildren, Rob Anderson (Jennifer) of Atlanta, David Anderson (Pam) of Forest, Rayna Williams (Troy) of Lynchburg, Sister-in-Law, Jeanette Morgan (Harvey) of Stonewall and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one stepson, Jeff Anderson and one grandson, Chris Gough both of Lynchburg.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
The family suggest those wishing to make memorials consider St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
