Julia Ann Hicks
Julia \"Ann\" Hicks, 65, of Forest passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
She was the wife of Larry Hicks for 44 years.
Born on March 5, 1948, in Oxford, NC she was the daughter of the late William Gregory Cottrell and Patti Odell Knott.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Scott Hicks (Leslie) of Cary, NC, Greg Hicks(Kristin) of Forest, VA, two granddaughters: Sydney Hicks and Kayleigh Hicks both of Forest, VA, a brother: Roger Cottrell(Linda) of Tullahoma, TN. a brother-in-law: Wayne Hicks(Peggy) of Oxford, NC, three nephews: Bryan Cottrell of Carlsbad, CA, Jason Cottrell(Amy) and their son Jackson of Knoxville TN, Steve Hicks(Karen) and their daughters, Hope and Hailey of Durham, NC, her long time loving friends: Lawrence & Rebecca Wilkins of Oxford and \"T\" Lowery of Forest.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Marsh Memorial United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
