Julois ”Sue” Ann Hubbard

Julois “Sue” Ann Hubbard, of Bedford, the beloved wife of Robert Hubbard, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016.
Sue was the daughter of the late Claiborne and Ora Maxey, born in Wolf, West Virginia on March 14, 1947. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Fulwiler; and her granddaughter Amber Nicole Simms her angel unaware.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 27 years; her children, Dana G. Simms, Barbara Ann Overton, George “Danny” Gravely, Jr. (Tammy), and Kirk R. Hubbard (Terri); and her brother, Jerry Maxey. Survivors also include her five grandchildren, Megan McCafferty (Patrick), Autumn L. Simms, Justin Gravely, Morgan L. Overton, Kayla Gravely and one great-granddaughter, Lylah Rae McCafferty all five of her grandchildren and great-granddaughter affectionately called her their Me-Maw.
Sue’s passion in her life was her Lord, Jesus Christ, and she would continually praise him through her pain until she suffered no more.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Sunday evening March 20, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon with Pastor Mack Almond, Jr. officiating.
