June P. White, 86, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late Willie Bernard White, Jr.
Born Friday, April 04, 1930 in Lynchburg, June was a daughter of the late Percy R. Phlegar and the late Lucy H. Phlegar.
June is survived by her daughter, Debra White, of Lynchburg, a grandson, Michael A. Tester and his wife, Danielle, of Roanoke, great granddaughter Lucy Grace is due in February, and a sister-in-law, Frances R. White, of Lynchburg.
June was a loving and unselfish person. She loved her family unconditionally and her church West Lynchburg Baptist Church.
A celebration June’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Scott Paulette officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
