June Rosser Penick departed this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Lynchburg General Hospital at the age of 74.
June was born on June 1, 1941, in Lynchburg, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents Goldie Mayo Calloway and Joseph Irving Rosser.
She is survived by her loving devoted husband of 54 years, Eugene Hudson Penick, Sr. of the home. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Eugene H. Penick Jr. (Michele) of Amherst, VA, Wendilyn V. Penick of Hanover, MD and Shaun C. Penick (Lesly) of Cary, NC; Six grandchildren: Spencer Brooks (William), Max Brown, Kori Penick, Ivey Brown, Gena Penick, and Miguel Penick; Two great-grandchildren: Madeline and Hudson Brooks and her sister-in-law Hattie Tanner-Deane.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg, VA.
