Karen Denise Miller, 64, of Rustburg, Virginia died on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Born Monday, May 24, 1954 in Lynchburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Herman Miller and Barbara Ann St. John Miller. She was the wife of the late Roy Edward Rankin Sr.
She studied Lynchburg College and pursued a career in Cosmetology eventually becoming an Instructor. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to her mother, her survivors include her children, Roy Edward Rankin, Jr., Darys King, Dohnavan Miller and his fiancée, Jade Shelp, Kaela Miller and her significant other, Dillon Wilson; eight grandchildren; sisters, Zann Robinson, Merissa Phillips, Leslie Babis, and Lynn Atkins, and her brother, Gary Miller. She was predeceased by her son-in-law David King and her dear friend Danny Powell.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
