Karla Renee Mercy, 51 of Roanoke, Virginia lost her battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by her father Fredrick F. Ely, Grandmother Deta Hylton and nephew Baby Jackie.
She leaves behind her husband Scott Mercy, daughter and Son-In-Law Kristen & Chris Doss, Son’s Justen Pugh & Austin Mercy and grandson’s James Elijah Pugh and Zachary Hunter Doss, Her mother LaWanda Ely, Sister and Brother-In-Law Stacey and Eddie Thornhill.
Her Aunts Marlene Kolbert of Winchester, Virginia, Margaret Jones of Reno, Nevada, Diane Thorn of Vinton, Virginia. Cousins James Watkins of Winchester, Virginia, Greg Watkins of Winchester, Virginia, Doug and Angie Watkins of Winchester, Virginia, Cindy and John Teem of Lexington, South Carolina, Debbie Martindale of Idaho, Laurie Howard of Reno, Nevada, Henry Thorn of Pasadena, Maryland, DeeAnna Naegele of Pasadena, Maryland, Sandi Flinchum of Roanoke, Virginia. And a lot of Niece’s and Nephew’s.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Roanoke First Church of the Nazarene 728 Highland Ave. SE Roanoke, Virginia 24013
