Katherine Johnson Mclean

 

Katherine Blake Johnson McLean, 80, of Lynchburg died April 7, 2012 at Centra \"" Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles Landrey McLean.

 Mrs. McLean was born May 30, 1931, Hopewell, VA, to the late Clarence Johnson and Mary Bishop. She was retired from First Colony Life Insurance Company.

 She is survived by her son, Dr. Donald R. McLean and his wife, Lynne of Wasilla, Alaska; four daughters, Karen M. Martinez and her husband, Richard of Goodyear, Ariz., Nancy M. Williams and her husband, Robert of Rustburg, Patricia M. Tomlin of Lynchburg, and Beth M. Dixon and her husband, Marvin of Pa.; a brother: Robert Johnson; eleven grandchildren: Richard Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Benjamin Martinez, Kimberly McLean Sole and her husband James Sole, Nicole McLean, Christopher McLean, Charles Williams, Jessica Dixon, Travis Dixon, Tyler Dixon and Caleb Dixon; four great-grandchildren: Brianna Boyet, Dylan Williams, Carter Sole and Madison Sole.

 She was preceded in death by a son, Charles L. McLean, Jr. and a grandson, Curtis M. Williams.

 A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Virginia Memorial Park, with the Rev. Donnie Glass officiating.
