Kathleen L. Sarsen

Kathleen Mae Leswing Sarsen, 76, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. A daughter of the late, Henry Charles Leswing and Julie Kardash Leswing. Kathleen was a member of Forest Presbyterian Church. She was a worldly traveler who visited India, Egypt, and Australia just to mention a few favorites. She also loved reading, playing bingo, and exercising especially going for walks. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.

Kathleen is survived by her sister, Nancy M. Whitehead and her husband, James Alvin Whitehead; nephew, James Alan Whitehead; niece, Susan Froehlich and her husband, Michael; great nephew, Caden Froehlich and great niece, Lilah Froehlich.

A service and celebration of Kathleen’s life will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford, with Rev. Morgan Whitefield officiating.
