Kathleen McNeely Smith, 92 of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord, August, 21, 2014 with her children by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Owen Smith.
Kathleen was born August 19, 1922 in Amherst County. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Ethel McNeely and the late Mary Jordan McNeely.
She is survived by a daughter Constance Smith Kramer â€Connie†and her husband Billy , Daniel Owen Smith “Pete†and his wife, Phyllis, Rodney Keith Smith and his wife, Maxine and Bruce Howard Smith and his wife, Linda, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Vivian Snead, Lois Reynolds, Nellie Jennings, Barbara Rayder, Joan Arthur and Norma Williams and a brother Charles McNeely
A graveside service will be conducted at Fort Hill Memorial Park on Sunday, August 24, at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Chris Deneen officiating.
