Kathryn “Kitty” Carwile Wildemann, age 89, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on December 14, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Claude Wesley Carwile and Myra Bailey Carwile, and the wife of the late Frederick Franklin Wildemann for 50 years.
Mrs. Wildemann was born on September 25, 1935, in Rustburg, Virginia. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. Kitty had a passion and talent for baking and cooking delicious homemade dishes for all her friends and family. She enjoyed watching her old black and white movies, as well as being an avid reader of romance novels.
Mrs. Wildemann is survived by her stepdaughter, Theresia A. Teague; her nieces, Myra E. Stinnett Trent (Kevin R.) and Karen Ann Turner; and numerous other beloved family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin W. Carwile and two sisters, Joyce (Teenie) Hammersley and Peggy Ann Carwile Stinnett.
