Kay Huffman Mitchell

Kay Huffman Mitchell, 75, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.

She was born on June 30, 1948, in Beckley, WV, to the late Harry Huffman and Margie Brown Huffman. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Patrick E. Mitchell, Jr. “Pat Jr.”.

Kay is survived by her son, Jimmy Mitchell (Amy); daughter, Susan Mitchell Brown; grandchildren, Maggie Mitchell, Kaylynne Martin, Walker Mitchell, MacKenzie Brown, Gavin Brown, Carter Brown, Alia Whitacre, Kirsten Vance, and Dustin Gilbert; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other special family members and friends.

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends.
