Kelly Ann Butler Hennessy, 54, of Bedford, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1968, in Bedford County, Virginia to Robert Butler, Sr. and the late Macie Thomasson Butler. In addition to her mother, Kelly was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Butler.
Kelly was a graduate of the class of 1986 from Liberty High School. She worked for the Secret Service in Washington, DC for many years. Kelly enjoyed reading and shopping. She especially loved the beach and traveling.
In addition to her father, Kelly is survived by her husband Joseph James John Hennessy, Jr.; daughter, Farah Kacey Hennessy; siblings, Sherry Renee Butler, Robert Nathaniel Butler, Jr., and Sidney Allen Thomasson; aunt, Mildred T. Smith; uncle, Bobby W. Thomasson; mother-in-law, Violet Hennessy and multiple nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
