Kenneth Allen Shaw, 68 of Huddleston, Virginia died on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Born Sunday, November 12, 1944 in Bedford, Virginia, Kenneth was the son of the late Richard Albert Shaw, Jr. and the late Ruby Craig Shaw.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Hall Shaw.
Kenneth proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Kenneth loved to hunt and was liked to watch baseball and football, especially the Washington Redskins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Tharp, Bedford, A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, with military honors provided by American Post-16.
