Kenneth “Ken” Scott LeBlanc, 54, of Amherst went to the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017, at his residence with his family by his side, after a long courageous struggle with cancer.
Ken was born on July 3, 1962 in Trenton, N.J., a son of Joseph L. LeBlanc and Betty J. Ellis LeBlanc. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Gail LeBlanc. Others who mourn Ken’s passing are his sister, Kris LeBlanc Stewart of Powhatan, (nephews William, James and Matthew); son, Michael Kinsler (Mitzi) (grandsons Joseph and Chad); daughter, Heather Ray, (granddaughter, Abby), both of Iowa; cousins, Kimberly Pope Jensen, N.J.; Cindy Pope Yuhasz, CT; (Aunts) Lyn Pope, CT; and Carol Ellis Cahill, FL; Gunter Bauer, his lifelong school buddy and many of his co-workers around the country.
Ken served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
A memorial service will be celebrated at Amherst Presbyterian Church Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Matthew Gaventa and Rev. Kristie Miles co-officiating.
