On Tuesday, January 12, 2016, God called Kilia (KeeKee) LaJuan Young, to come and rest.
KeeKee was born in Lynchburg, Va. on August 28, 1981. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Young. KeeKee leaves her parents, Alice and Robert Jones; her sister Ranesha Jones; devoted aunt, Marva Martin; and her loving “Soul Mate,” Reuben Kidd, to cherish her memories.
KeeKee worked for Lynchburg Shelter Workshop Industries (LSI) for 15 years. She participated in the Special Olympics “Bowling” and “Gymnastics”. She was very energetic, happy, loving, and always smiling, living her life to the fullest.
A celebration of KeeKee’s life will be held at Jackson Street United Methodist Church, Lynchburg, on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. Viewing will take place from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Baptist Cemetery, Lynchburg.
