Kimbley Fay Harrell, 59, of Lynchburg, died on Sunday, October 30, 2016.
Born December 25, 1956, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Mary Singleton Harrell and the late Earl Harrell.
Kim was a graduate of Lynchburg College with a degree in Agency Counseling/ Psychology. She was a child and family therapist with Horizon Behavioral Health until her retirement. She also was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by; her fiancé, David Young, of Lynchburg; her brother, Kelly Harrell, of Concord; cousins, Ginger, Tracy, and Dennis Wright, her best friend, Mary Shearer, all of Lynchburg; and a host of other relatives. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Moosie Mae.
Kim was the best human we have ever known. Kim was truly mindful, altruistic, non-judgmental, and possessed an unlimited capacity for love & compassion.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016, in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
