Kimberly Rose Stecker

Kimberly Rose Stecker, 59, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, February 3rd, 2025.

Born on Tuesday, January 25, 1966, in Berlin, New Jersey, Kim was the daughter of the late Richard and Roseanne Stecker of Amherst.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Rose Stecker of Mullica Hill, NJ, and maternal grandparents Joseph and Minerva Orbanus of Williamstown, NJ.

She is survived by five siblings, Terry Castagna and husband, Robert, of Berlin, NJ; Renea Stecker of Berlin, NJ; Richard Stecker and wife, Thelma, of Amherst, VA; Rebecka Lee and husband, Brennan, of Madison Heights, VA; Russell Stecker and wife, Carrie, of Amherst, VA, nephew and caretaker James McLaughlin and wife, Lauren, of Amherst, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

Kim was a very special person loved by everyone who knew her. Her bright blue eyes and beautiful smile touched many lives. She loved her family, being outside, McDonalds, swiss cake rolls, and Santa.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights.

A Celebration of Kim’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday February 7, 2025, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights with the Rev. Jeffery Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Jonesboro Cemetery, in Roseland, VA.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
