Our beloved Kirstie Womack McHugh, 43, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 3, 2018. She was the wife of Kirk McHugh for 21 years.
Kirstie was born August 7, 1974, in Lynchburg, the daughter of Steve and Sue Womack.
She was a member of Living Word Baptist Church and was employed at BWXT.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her brother, Rodney Womack (Sandy); two nieces, Earin and Eva Womack. She is also survived by her Father and Mother-in-law, Pete and Ardella McHugh and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her dogs DeeDee, Ore, Sofie and Buggs.
Kirstie was a devoted wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A funeral service to celebrate Kirstie‘s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mills Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
