Kristin Braumiller Hancock, 55, of Lynchburg died Sunday June 15, 2014.
Kristin was born March 28, 1959 in Harrisonburg a daughter of the late Richard Braumiller and Eleanor Lukens Braumiller. Kristin worked for many years for the City of Lynchburg and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her two daughters: Ellie Hancock of Lynchburg and Kelly Stinnette of Lynchburg, a granddaughter Maddison Green, sister Karen McLarty and husband Charles and niece Kate McLarty of Charlotte, NC.
A memorial service will be held for Kristin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Columbarium with the Rev. Dennis Roberts officiating. There will be a Celebration of Kristin’s Life at her home following the service at 6:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 3305 Naval Reserve Road Lynchburg, VA 24501.
Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg (434-237-9424) is assisting the family.
