L. Nelson Crawford, 62, of Goode, VA, died Wednesday, July 07, 2010. He was the husband of Cindy Crawford.
Nelson Crawford was born Monday, September 08, 1947 in Lynchburg, VA, a son of the late Frank Strother Crawford, Jr. and Catherine Page Crawford. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and he was a member of Brookhill Wesleyan Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Calvert James Crawford of Lynchburg, Dennis Wayne Spradlin of Lynchburg, and Doug Neff and wife, Cindy, of Winston Salem, NC; two daughters, Julie Crawford Grubbs of Lynchburg and Becky Hulshof and husband, Chris, of Zeeland, MI; five grandchildren, Jerame Grubbs, Justin Wright, Connor Hulshof, Caleb Neff and Heidi Neff.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Brookhill Wesleyan Church. A celebration of Nelson\"™s life will be conducted at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Brookhill Wesleyan Church with Pastor Joe Horrell, Pastor Mike Newman and Pastor Tommy Hicks officiating.
