Larry Allen Mason, 80, of Huddleston passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at his residence. For 58 years he was the loving husband of Peggy Jean Parris Mason.
Born May 13, 1938 in Bluefield West Virginia, he was the son of the late Howard Bryant Mason and Molly Evelyn Mills Mason. He is also preceded in death by brothers: Garland and Donald Mason.
Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 101st airborne division. He was an active member of Moneta Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons: Barry Allen Mason and wife, Kimberly, Brian Clay Mason and wife, Tammy; grandchildren: Bayard, Anne Hayes, Parker and Peyton Mason; and brother: Robert Mason.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Virginia at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Dr. David Sexton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, Va. 23060.
