Larry Steven Baucom
Larry Steven Baucom, 73, of Forest died Thursday, January 05, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Rhonda Breland Baucom.
Larry was born Friday, November 25, 1938 in Kannapolis, NC, a son of the late Stanly Boyce Baucom and Ona Elizabeth Howard Baucom. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed by UYEMURA, USA where he was a Technical Sales Representative.
Larry was a passionate Bass fisherman and an avid Harley Rider who only knew one speed.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by his four children: Glen Lee Baucom of Madison, NC, Candice Rebekah of Jacksonville, NC, Matison Brooke of Oxford, MS, Angela Leuck of Lovettsville, VA; three brothers: Howard Baucom & Barbara, Round Hill, VA, Phillip Baucom & Sharon, Clayton, NC, Kent Baucom, Gastonia, NC, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A celebration of Larry's life will be conducted at 11:00 am in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2012 with The Reverend Phillip Baucom officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park, with The Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors.
