Larry Wallace Eagle

Larry Wallace Eagle, 71, of Fairfax, VA, died on April 18, 2013.

Larry was born on January 27, 1942, the husband of Deborah Eagle, and the son of the late Wallace Eagle and the late Hallie Eagle

Larry is survived by two daughters, Kelly Brooks and husband, Barry of Concord, Kim West and husband, Matt of Tennessee; a son Chris Eagle and wife, Cathryn of Florida; two sisters; Nancy Shelton and Teresa Shrader; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a son, Paul Eagle and an infant sister, Mitzi Gay Eagle.

Larry was a charter member of Perkins Park Christian Church. He was a President and General Manager for NEC Corporation and throughout his successful career held numerous executive positions at ITT, Fujitsu, and General Electric Corporation. He was a seasoned executive experienced in defining and organization\"™s strategic telecommunications strategies and delivering the engineering. His professional experiences include a combination of Commercial and Government organizations, primarily focused in the areas of voice, data, interactive video, broadband internet and broadcast TV networking.

Larry had a love for the outdoors; he enjoyed walking, playing golf and keeping up with the stock market.

The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A celebration of Larry\"™s life will follw at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home.
