Latricia Evans Hall, 71, of Madison Heights, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024. She was the loving wife of Gary Kyle Hall.
Latricia was born on June 26, 1952, in Maryland, a daughter of the late George William Evans and Nancy Massie Evans. Latricia was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center where she worked as a certified nurse’s aide and was a member of Tree of Life Ministries in Lynchburg. Latricia loved her family beyond measure, she adored her children and grandchildren. Latricia never knew a stranger and had a smile that would light up any room.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Angie Trent (Troy) of Concord, Missy Ogden of Rustburg, and Kyle Hall (Kelly) of Madison Heights, seven grandchildren: Kisten Hall, Kayla Hall, Ryan Hall, Darren Hall, Lexi Hall, Aiden Hall and Kristen Hall, three great-grandchildren: Mikenzi Lindsey, Jaxson Lindsey, and Benjamin Hall, two brothers, Billy Evans (Judy) and George Evans (Karen), one sister: Debbie Knowles, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
A Celebration of Latricia’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2024, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Tree of Life Cemetery in Altavista.
The family would like to give special thanks to Westminster Hospice and to the staff at Fairmont Crossing for their tender care.
