Laura Lee Stickley Slayton

Laura Lee Stickley Johnson Slayton died July 16, 2014. She was the daughter of Robert Palmer and Alpha Lee Crump Stickley. Robert Palmer Stickley Jr., her brother, preceded her in death.
Allen Easley Johnson, her husband of 50 years, died in 2001. Her second husband, Lee Slayton, died in 2008. Laura Lee married her current husband and dear friend, John Pelissier in 2012.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Lee J. Schultz and her husband Daniel C. Schultz and her son Allen Easley Johnson Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Ann Carone Johnson.
Laura Lee’s grandchildren are Katherine Lee Schultz, Elizabeth Schultz Flick, Elizabeth Carone Johnson and Allen Easley Johnson III. Her great grandchildren are Anne Laura Flick and Edward Elliot Flick.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Lynchburg on Monday, July 21, at 2:00 with a reception following at the church. A private family burial service will take place at a later date.
