Laurence Donald Morrison, 93, of Appomattox, Va., died Friday, July 7, 2017. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Morrison.
Rev. Morrison was born Sunday, December 16, 1923 in Clarksville, Va., a son of the late Enoch Perego Morrison and Martha Jean Oslin Morrison. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a minister of Disciples of Christ Christian Churches of Virginia for 20 years. He became a member of Church of the Covenant after his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Teresa Morrison (Raymond James Kessler, Jr.), Dana Morrison, and Betsy Morrison.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers.
A graveside service will take place in Virginia Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017.
