Laurie C. Agnew, 46, of Bedford, Va., passed away at her residence Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Laurie was born Thursday, April 8, 1971 in Lynchburg, Va., a daughter of Norman Clark and Donna Clark. She was a caring and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Laurie is survived by two children, Rebecca Lyn Agnew and Nathan Aaron Agnew; one brother, Norman W. Clark, Jr.
Laurie was preceded in death by two of her children, John Joseph Agnew and Christopher William Agnew.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Christy Tolbert, Debbie Hamlet, and Lisa Lyman for their care and support during this difficult time.
A graveside service will be conducted at Spring Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Chaplin Wayne Lanham officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
