Lawrence Carter Evers
Lawrence Carter Evers, 85, of Madison Heights, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011.
Lawrence was born January 5, 1926 in Campbell County, a son of the late John Harvery Evers and the late Lomie Lee Evers. He was the owner and president of J.W. Harvey Oil Company for 26 years.
He is survived by a brother, John Evers and his wife, Sarah, of Lynchburg; a nephew, E.A. Williams, of Campbell County; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
