Lee Forrest Hartman, 62, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. He was the devoted husband of Lori L. Hartman for 42 years.
Lee was born on July 30, 1956 in Wytheville, Virginia a son of the late Earl Hartman and Edith Turner Hartman. Lee honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was retired as a Fork Lift Operator in the printing industry.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Kelly Gladden and her husband Jeff of Rustburg, his son Kevin Hartman and Mary Peterson of California, and his four legged companion “Sarge”. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Robin W. Hartman.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Al Stewart officiating. Military Honors to be performed by American Legion Post 16.
