Lekisia Dailey Turner

Early Sunday morning, February 11, 2018, God in His infinite wisdom came down and carried Lekisia Dailey Turner, one of his most beautiful angels, back to Heaven.

Lekisia was born on December 29, 1974 to the late Danny Ray Dailey, Sr. and Linda Organ Dailey. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nannie Rose Carter; and her paternal grandfather, John B. Dailey.

She leaves to cherish her memory two beloved sons, Ishmael and Isaiah Turner, both of Hampton, Va.; a faithful mother, Linda O. Dailey; a devoted brother and sister, Danny Dailey, Jr. and Tiana Dailey Waller (Kermit), all of Lynchburg; her beloved niece and nephews, Kiah, Keon, and Kamden Waller; a loving friend, Timothy Austin; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Lekisia was saved at an early age and joined Fifth Street Baptist Church.  She graduated from Heritage High School in 1992.  She joined the U.S. Army in 1994 and worked as a wire systems installer.  She earned several medals and awards during her military service. She later began pursuing a degree in accounting.  She was currently employed as a sales representative for Startek in Forest.

Lekisia had a larger-than-life personality. She was the life of the party. No matter where she went, she stole the show. She lit up every room with her infectious smile. She had a unique style and wit all her own. She danced to the beat of her own drum. To truly know her was to love her.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
