Lenore Holbrook

Lenore Schang Holbrook, 73 of Lynchburg, Virginia died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her home. She was the loving wife of Richard Holbrook for 52 years.

Lenore was born, October 6, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Archie Schang and the late Julia Barry Schang.

She was a retired counselor from Alliance for Families and Children and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Mark Holbrook(Jennifer) of Louisville, OH,, Mike Holbrook of North Canton, OH, Thom Holbrook (Amanda) of Los Angeles, CA and Tim Holbrook (Namon) of Atlanta, GA, Lysa Holbrook of Fayetteville, NC, a brother, Robert Schang of Wooster, OH. and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Paul Andrew Holbrook.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will follow at11:00 AM; with the Rev Richard Mooney officiating. Interment will be in the church columbarium. Lunch will be served following the service.
