Leonard Lovins, Jr.

Leonard Lovins Jr., 77 of Forest, VA passed away on July 30, 2024. Leonard was born May 1, 1947 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Gladys Lovins and by his wife Jane Lovins.

Leonard is survived by one son, Colonel Bruce Lovins MD, U.S. Army (Ret) and wife Karrie of Robertsdale, AL; one daughter, Sheryl Roberts and husband Danny of Forest, VA; two grandsons, Daniel Roberts IV and Ryan Roberts.

Leonard grew up in Ml where he met and married his high school sweetheart. They were married for 48 years. Throughout life he was a truck driver, farrier for 30 years, and a correctional officer for the state of Florida for 25 years.

He was an avid hunter and loved archery. In retirement, one could always find him target shooting with his bow or forging knives. He was a member of Impact church in Forest, VA

At request of the deceased there will not be a visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or Impact church in Forest, VA.
