Leonard Marvin Hutton

Leonard Marvin Hutton went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2022.  Leonard was an animal lover, a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a man of strong faith.  He was blessed to have found love twice in this life.  He was married first to the late Margaret Joanne Hutton (Mitchell) until her passing.  He then married Wanda Jean Hutton (Stanley) and was married to her until his passing.  Everyone who knew Leonard knows if you ever asked him how he was doing he would tell “Oh you know me, I’m always the 3 Gs; Grand, Great and Gorgeous.”

Leonard is survived by his wife Wanda and three children; 1SG(R) Leonard M. Hutton and his wife Denise, two daughters Wendy Westmoreland and her husband Mark, Loretta Burks and her fiancé David Johnston and two siblings Warren Hutton and Patricia Nelson.  He also has 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild with him in heaven.

The family plans to have a graveside celebration of life ceremony, January 29, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Bedford. In lieu of flowers the family ask you make donations to The American Cancer Society or the SPCA in Leonard’s honor. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
