Leslie \"Les\" Bernard Taylor, III, 64 of Forest went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 18, 2010. He was the loving husband of Diann Hill Taylor for 44 years.

Les was born June 28, 1945 in Wilmington, NC, a son of the late Leslie Bernard Taylor, Jr. and Cornelia Bateman Taylor. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a very gentle, loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved everyone he met. He had the ability to make everyone laugh and had a great passion for golfing and his dogs. Being a Draftsman by trade, it is hard to go into any neighborhood and not see some of his work. He was liked by everyone he met.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Matthew Taylor and his wife Stacie of Forest and Jason Taylor of Evington, his grandchildren; Chris and Heather Taylor of Forest; and his brother, James A. Taylor and his wife Sherry of Myrtle Beach.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and good friend, Adalaide Miller.
