Leslie Warren Addison
Leslie Warren Addison, 68, of Forest died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty B. Addison and a grandson, Tyler A. Addison.
Born August 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Roy Elmer Addison and the late Snoda Belle Cook Addison.
He had been retired for the past two years from Addison Construction, a company he owned for 38 years. He was a member of North Bedford Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Don Addison of Ashburn, VA and Joe Addison of Vansant, VA; three sisters, Meryl Woods, Mavisdale, VA, Liz Andruik, Centreville, VA and Sue Swaim of Berkeley Springs, WV; special first cousins, Bill, Jim, Jack, Perry and Ann Cook and Nell Hurt; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Buchanan, Mary Daniels and a brother-in-law, Sam Brodie. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David W. Addison.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at Brookhill Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chad Brady officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 \"" 8:00 PM today, Nov. 24 at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Dr., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
