Letty Wood Neas

Letty Wood Neas, 93, of Coleman Falls, VA passed away on, January 17, 2024, at Forest Health & Rehab. She was born in Lynchburg, VA on July 13, 1930. A daughter of the late Herbert Percey Wood and Eva Grace Wright Wood. In addition to her parents Letty was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Neas, three grandsons, Jonathan Neas, Shawn Mays, Kendall Neas: siblings, Marshall Wood, Robert “Bobby” Wood and Dolores Wood Wilson.

Letty loved her family and friends so much. She was the Matriarch and provider in so many ways for her children, grandchildren, and siblings. She always enjoyed crocheting and crafts. She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Aubrey Neas, Richard Neas (Christy), Doris Whitley, Travis “Butch” Neas (Cindy), Eva Neas Brown (Steve) and Garland Neas; fifteen grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
