Lillie Angeline \"Angie\" B. Wood, 77, of Lynchburg, died Friday, September 17, 2010. She was the wife of Layden B. Wood Jr.
Angie was born November 11, 1932 in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of the late Willie E. Baker and Juanita Ella Baker.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons; Layden B. Wood, III, and wife Rosie, Jeffrey Alan Wood and wife, Brenda, Edward L. (Larry) Wood, and wife, Lisa; a sister, Frances Wilmer; nine grandchildren, Nikki, Amy, Jesse, Emily, Ben, Gene, Christie, Casey Wood and wife, Jill, Blaire Flowers and husband, Brad; four great grandchildren, Ethan and Jacob Flowers, and Lilly and Alexis Wood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward L. Baker.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 \"" 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
