Linda A. Hash went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Ernest L. Hash, Jr. She was born on October 11, 1951 in Nelson County, Va. She was the daughter of the late William M. Allen and Annie B. Allen.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 50 years; three wonderful children, daughters Becky Hash Gilbert (Stacey), Rachael Wade (Steve) and son Tim Hash (Carol); and five loving grandchildren Gabby Wade, Meagan Wade, Sarah Roberts, Tara Hash and Laney Bryant. She is additionally survived by two sisters, Phyllis Williams and Mary Bersch (Carlton) and one brother, Houston Allen (Thelma).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Betty Robertson, Mattie Evans and Carolyn Jones; two brothers, Lester Allen and Calvin Allen.
I pray that I may
Live to fish
Until my dying day.
And when it comes
To my last cast,
I then most humbly pray,
When in the Lord’s
Great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy
I be judged
BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP!
