Linda Akers Hall, 72 years old, born May 7, 1943; of Pulaski, Va.; passed Friday, August 14, 2015 at her daughter’s home, 295 Royal Court, Forest, Va., following a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Nathan Hall, Jr.; her parents, Cecil Akers and Sarah Lorena Hagee Akers; her brother, Richard Akers; and her sister Mary Ruth Akers Trivisonno; and her niece Susan Martin Dalton.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Nathan Hall, Sr.; her daughter and son-in-law, Larissa and John Norman; her grandchildren, Skylar, Jacob, Adam and Michael Norman; and her niece Pamela Martin Surber.
She worked for the Roanoke Times, alongside her husband, until their retirement. In addition to her family, she loved knitting, arts and crafts, word search puzzles and working jigsaw puzzles.
There will be no services. Condolences should be sent to Paul Hall and family at the address above.
The family is in the care of Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg.
