Linda H. Ramsey, 79, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was the wife of Melvin D. Ramsey, Sr. for 59 years.
Born on December 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Virginia T. Blankenship and Charles R. Blankenship of Lynchburg. She was also preceded in death by her only brother Philip Nelson.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Doug Ramsey, Jr. (Deborah) and Penny Downs, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel December 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Private interment at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
