Lois Ann Hogan Everette

Lois Ann Hogan Everette, 83, of Lynchburg, died January 10, 2018.

She was born on September 20, 1934, in Lynchburg; she was a daughter of the late Herndon Austin Hogan and the late Frankie Owen Hogan. She was an active member of Rivermont Avenue Baptist Church until her health failed. Lois retired from Centra Lynchburg General Hospital where she was director of the Child Care Center. A 1953 graduate of E.C. Glass High School, Lois earned a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina College in 1958.

Lois is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve A. and Connie T. Everett, of Forest; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Taylor and Richard S. Renshaw, of Hardy; a niece, Beverly Musselwhite (Dan) of Wendell, N.C.; a nephew, Ben Davis, of Topanga, Calif.; and one sister, Jean H. Davis, of Lynchburg.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Tharp Funeral, Lynchburg, in the Chapel with Chaplain Wayne Lanham officiating. The family invites you to join them for a reception following the service.
