Lois Overstreet Dooley

Lois Virginia Overstreet Dooley, 82, of Bedford went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born Thursday, May 26, 1927 in Bedford County a daughter of the late David Crockett Overstreet and Mary Virginia Ruff.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Henderson Dooley; one brother, Otis Spencer Overstreet; three sisters, Nettie Mitchell, Ann Eubank and June Dooley; brothers-in-law, John Dooley and Junior Bowyer; beloved nephews, David Bowyer and Tim Overstreet. She is survived by one brother, Wilson Overstreet and his wife, Evelyn; one sister and best friend, Rhoda Bowyer; loving caregivers, a niece, Helen Dooley and husband, Joe, a nephew, Calvin Bowyer and his wife, Carolyn and a great nephew, Timmy Overstreet; numerous devoted and loving nieces, nephews and extended family members and the light of her life and daily companion, her \"Cussy Cat\" Blackie.
