Lorena Cardwell, 93, of Forest, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1924. She was the wife of the late Palmer Neal Cardwell.
Lorena was born Forest, Va., a daughter of the late Walter and Julia Feagan. She retired from Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Wilson and husband Joseph; two grandsons, David W. Wilson and his wife Amanda and Richard N. Wilson, all of Forest. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Moon and a brother Garland Feagan.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 7-8:30 p.m. Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A Celebration of Lorena’s life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 1:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Pastor Rick Ewing officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
