Lorene Frances Doss

Lorene Frances Miles Doss went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Born February 23, 1931 in Campbell County; she was a daughter of the late Roy Terrell and Minnie Odell Tweedy Miles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Lee Miles, Doris Miles Singleton, and Odell Miles Isaacs. She is survived by her husband, Ferrelle W. “Pete” Doss; daughter, Susan “Sue” Marston and husband, David; son, Thomas W. “Tom” Doss and wife, Joyce; granddaughter, Amy Sue Feigel and husband, Kurt; grandsons, Jonathan Doss and Phillip Doss; and great-grandsons, Chase Feigel and Cameron Feigel.
Lorene was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker for her husband and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Pate Chapel of Thomas Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
